The Real Secret to Dressing Like Helen
Helen style is not about getting every detail exactly right.
It’s about being brave enough to wear something joyful, a little outrageous, and fully committed.
This is your permission slip to go brighter, bigger, and more playful than usual. Roper Romp is exactly the place for it.
The goal is not perfection. The goal is joy, color, confidence, and just enough drama to make Stanley sigh.

If you’re not sure where to start, here’s the easiest way to think about it.
Must-haves
A caftan, flowy dress, or bold-print outfit.
A wig, big hair, or some kind of Helen-inspired head situation.
At least one accessory with personality.
Nice-to-haves
Pearls.
Oversized sunglasses.
Chunky earrings.
A dramatic bag.
Sandals that can survive a full day of romping.
Bonus drama
White sunglasses.
Extra sparkle.
A statement ring.
A scarf, flower, or accessory that makes the outfit feel delightfully overcommitted.
You don’t need the perfect outfit
Bold print, big accessories, cheerful confidence, and a willingness to lean into the silliness — that’s already halfway to Helen.
Think less “exact costume replica” and more “Helen spirit with your own twist.” A thrifted dress, costume jewelry, big glasses, and a wink can absolutely get the job done.
Come as your version of Helen — fabulous, funny, and ready to romp.
