Hastings College Homecoming's Melody Round-Up Parade was simply too good an opportunity to pass up 🎺. So, for the early-rising Helens among us, we're inviting you to put on your caftan, grab your pearls 📿, and join the Roper Romp crew in the parade before the official festivities begin.

Because really—who needs a ThighMaster when you can walk a parade? 💪😄

This is a completely optional extra dose of hometown fun ✨. You do not need to march in the parade to participate in Roper Romp, and you do not need to sign up right now. But if a little waving, walking, and Helen-level fabulousness sounds like your kind of morning, we would love to have you with us. 💕

🚶‍♀️ What: March with the Roper Romp crew in the Hastings College Homecoming Melody Round-Up Parade

⏰ Parade begins: 10:30 AM

🕤 Lineup begins: Around 9:30 AM
Exact lineup location and final instructions are still coming soon.

🏛️ Then what? Head straight to Roper Romp Headquarters at the Regal Eagles Club. Doors open at 11:30 AM, so there will be plenty of time to transition from parade Helen to romping Helen. 💃

What To Wear 👗🕶️

Come in your Roper Romp finest—caftans, wigs, pearls, big glasses, comfortable shoes 👠, and whatever makes you feel ready to wave at a crowd like you have been doing this all your life. 👋

👟 The only practical suggestion from Stanley: choose shoes you can walk in.
